I used Ableton as my software. My inspirations for this project was mostly from minecraft because they do ambient music really well. I used an old videogame track of mine to form this project around. The theme I chose for this project was foreign worlds because each soundtrack minus one has the same theme permeating throughout the music. Each world feels familiar but somethings foreign about it. My process is to start off with a piano idea and some cool sounds that matched the foreign world game music track. Then I kind of just created the rest off what I was hearing. I specialize in improvisation, so I heavily rely on that to create all the music I make. All the sounds chosen were done deliberately to envoke the feelings of the cosmos.
